Where does the data come from?

Measurements are provided by the Austrian federal states and their environmental monitoring agencies. The data is official and collected from sensors installed at the bathing sites.

How often is the data updated?

Update frequency depends on the measuring station. Temperature is typically updated daily during the bathing season. Water quality lab results follow the monitoring schedule of each state authority.

Does it work for tourists who don’t speak German?

Yes. The app is available in English and adapts to your device language automatically. All key metrics — temperature, quality ratings, and directions — are fully usable without knowing German.
